Ashton Kutcher Is Steve Jobs In Apple Founder Biopic "jOBS" [VIDEO CLIP]
Ashton Kutcher is already receiving praise for his transformation into Steve Jobs in the upcoming biopic, jOBS, based on the late Apple co-founder's life and world-changing, mind-expanding technological contributions.
If you have qualms with the That 70s Show star's body of work or doubt his ability to absorb the complex nature of one of this century's most gifted and influential visionaries, think again.
Josh Gad, who plays fellow Apple founder Steve Wozniak, weighs in on Kutcher's performance in an interview with Entertainment Weekly.
"I think that there is a lot of mystery and there's a lot of pre-loaded expectation of what his version of Jobs will be like. Ashton absolutely became the character on the set. He's one of the most giving actors I've ever worked with. His level of commitment forced everyone else to rise up."
jOBS will be screened at the Sundance Film Festival this weekend and is scheduled for a nationwide theatrical release April 19th.
Below is the first official clip of jOBS, where Kutcher's Steve is trying to convince Gad's Wozniak (Hair and co.) that computers aren't boring and beyond the reach of the average consumer. The scene takes place in a Hewlett Packard parking lot where the two Apple entrepreneurs worked in the 70s.
