'Arrow' & The Flash' Spin-Off Title News, Rumors: Series Believed to Be Titled 'Legends'

'Flash' actor, John Wesley Shipp may have accidentally spilled the beans on the title of the upcoming 'Flash' and 'Arrow' spin-off TV series.

The actor was approached by Comic Book Resources at Missouri Cape's Comic-Con, where he casually referred to the series as 'Legends.'

While there is no confirmation as to if this is the name that the network is deciding to go with, it would draw reference to the 1986 comic series of the same name. The limited series also featured a major crossover.

"Shipp added that the spinoff has been picked up for 13 episodes, and listed CBS's Supergirl among the lineup of shows that will make up the shared DC TV universe. This is an idea we've heard before -- Supergirl shares the same producing team as Flash and Arrow -- although it has yet to be confirmed by either WBTV or The CW," writes IGN.

The spin-off series has not yet received a premiere date.
