No character is safe either from death or contract expiration as the third season of Arrows draws nearer to its end.

Last week, Roy Harper (Colton Haynes) shocked his fans when he was killed off in prison; they were relieved when they found he was still alive. He faked his own death to throw suspicions off Oliver Queen. He reappeared but only to wish his fellow vigilante friends farewell (he might not get back).

 Arsenal Actor Colton Haynes has recently opened up about his exit from the show on his Twitter account @coltonhaynes teasing his fans about a possible return to the series. "Want to thank all you #Arrow fans for the love & support over the past yrs! What an amazing ride! #RoyHarper will see u soonJ #LoveYall."

Recently, the producer, Greg Berlanti spoke with Buzzfeed about Haynes' exit: "When we made Colton's deal, he was coming off of Teen wolf where he was beloved and he had a lot of opportunities. So we did a trial thing where we said, for his sake and ours, 'we'll just do a bunch of episodes and see if you like it and if you enjoy it' and he did."

Adding, "then pilot season came up that year and before another pilot could snatch him up, we made a deal, so we always knew we were on a clock." He also said "the end of this season is very much a punctuation mark on the first three seasons. Everything will be changed after this season."

Concerning the fourth year, Guggenheim said that, "we have planned something cool and radical to open next season."

How will Arrow be without Colton Haynes as a series regular? Never the same.
