As 'Arrow' Season 3 gears up to premiere in October, fans look for clues in the recently released promotional video. Fans can expect to see character development and background story added to Stephen Amell's character Oliver Queen. Also, fans should look out for the budding romance between Queen and Felicity Smoak.

During the last Comic-Con panel discussion, executive producer Greg Berlanti reassured fans that the screenwriters are not trying to fake anybody with Oliver's confession to Felicity and added that the story will pick up from where it ended in Season 2.

"Felicity and Oliver actually have a pretty raw discussion about what they mean to each other, which we're really excited about, and it's an extension of what happened at the end of last year," showrunner Andrew Kreisberg told Entertainment Weekly.

As the series' theme suggests, viewers can expect a lot of personal profiling about each character appearing in the third season. It is also safe to say that as each secret unfolds, new characters will be revealed. Producer Marc Guggenheim, in an interview with The Hollywood Reporter, confirmed that this is the first time the show is following an identity plot.

'Arrow' Season 3 premieres on October 8 at 8 pm on The CW.
