'Arrow' Season 3 Premiere Date, Spoilers: Ra’s al Ghul to Join the Team, Komodo Supervillian Appearance
'Arrow' Season 3 is geared up and ready to return to the CW Network on Wednesday October 28, at 8/7c.
Marc Guggenheim, Greg Berlanti and Andrew Kreisberg, the producers of 'Arrow' announced at Comic-Con that Ra's al Ghul, the leader of League of Assassins will come to join to crew for Season 3. There are numerous assumptions and rumors on who will play that character on the show.
In an interview with MTV, Liam Neeson, who played the same character in 'Batman Begins', said that he wouldn't mind acting as the villain leader again if he had to, "No, I haven't, I haven't at all. I would, in a heartbeat, if it came my way, yeah-very much so."
The casting description of Ra's al Ghul might rule someone like Liam Neeson out of the picture. They describe the villain as a "major recurring character." However, it does not seem to stray far off from Liam Neeson's version of Ra's al Ghul, "Ra's al Ghul absolutely believed what he was doing was ultimately saving civilization and it was quite a good argument he comes up with...they have to believe in their philosophy...very dangerous, but you have to believe it," he said.
Besides the League of Assassins leader, Season 3 will also see another supervillain, Komodo.
Komodo will first appear in the second episode, and Matt Ward is set to portray him. Guggenheim told Entertainment Weekly, "Yes, he's the villain of the week for the second week of the show...you're going to know what happen to Komodo at the end of the episode."
