‘Arrow’ Season 2 Spoilers: Penultimate Episode – ‘Best So Far’; Reason for Malcolm’s Return Revealed [VIDEO]
Arrow Season 2 could be the best show in television history so far, actor Stephen Amell has said in a Twitter post. Critics may have something to say about that but episode Streets of Fire presented more than enough alliances, drama, and cliffhangers that will absolutely leave fans wondering about the final episode.
Malcolm Merlyn, played by John Barrowman, returned to Starling City to retrieve his daughter, Thea. The father-daughter relationship here is beyond any alliance or mission.
Executive Producer Andrew Kreisberg said, "All hell is going to break loose in the city, and Thea will find herself in a precarious predicament - and Thea is going to be saved by her father. He is going to offer her what she doesn't have anymore."
Meanwhile, Sara also returned to Starling City together with Nyssa al Ghul. She is building an army and could make use of all the help she can get.
"She goes and gets Nyssa and she comes back with the League. It's the Arrow, Canary, Roy Colton Haynes and the League of Assassins versus Slade and his Mirakuru army for the city," Kreisberg continued.

Meanwhile, the finale episode titled Unthinkable features unprecedented scenes and drama that will exceed expectations. The summary goes: "Oliver must fight to maintain his vow not to take a life when Slade kidnaps someone close to him. Meanwhile, it's Thea who turns to Roy for help, and Diggle takes on ARGUS."
When asked how he would describe the Arrow Season 2 finale, Amell said, "My three words to describe the season finale? Keep in mind we did this at Comic-Con. They asked us to use...I think it was one word actually to describe the Season Premiere, and I said, 'Trees.' So, Season Finale, three words, 'Wait, he's where?"
Arrow Season 2 Finale airs on May 14 on CW.
