Last night's episode of The CW's hit show "Arrow" shocked fans with yet another character killed off. How will this death affect the remainder of the season? For spoilers from executive producer Andrew Kreisberg, read on.

This past Wednesday was Moira Queen's last episode of "Arrow." He death will deeply affect the other characters, in particular her son Oliver. Andrew Kreisberg spoke to TV Guide about the effect of Moria's death.

"Her death... has a profound impact on everyone on the series. It's certainly what's going to drive Oliver in these last three episodes, and it's going to drive Thea, not only in these last three episodes, but also into [Season] 3," he said to TV Guide.

Getting into specifics, the executive producer spoke about what's to come in episode 21, entitled "City of Blood."

"The next episode opens with Moira's funeral and Oliver is missing," Kreisberg said.

It seems Oliver is hit hard by his mother's death, and next week's episode focuses on his struggle with that.

"He's been trying to be the Arrow, and now he's had everyone and everything he loves taken away from him. He's been hobbled, his team is in shambles, he's lost his company, his mother is dead," the executive producer said.
