Ariana Grande, Jai Brooks Break Up: "Yours Truly" Singer's Brother Frankie Says Ex Dumped Grande on the Phone to Stop Cheating Rumors with "The Wanted" Front Man Nathan Sykes

Even though Ariana Grande has achieved breakout success with her debut album Yours Truly, it seems like her relationship status trumps her music career.

After confirming dating rumors surrounding her new boyfriend and The Wanted front man Nathan Sykes, stories about her ex Jai Brooks are starting to pop up on the Internet.

After the split, Brooks has been on record saying him and Grande are still "good friends," Grande's older brother Frankie Grande sheds light on a different side of things.

Grande has recently been accused of cheating on her long time Australian Internet star boyfriend. Grande's brother took to Twitter recently to stick up for his little sister.

"Anybody who believes that rumor about my sister needs to pause. Open their eyes and remember how much she loved him," he tweeted. "He CRUSHED her w/ a phone breakup and to see Ari that miserable broke MY heart. It was a sad time for us all."

No wonder Grande has such soul and heart in her R&B singles. Every good soul singer needs some heartbreak to draw on.

Per usual, Frankie's comments sparked a little beef with Grande's ex-boyfriend. Brooks took to his Twitter account to defend what he considers to be ridiculous accusations:

"I havnt said anything, why do u feel the need to?" Brooks tweeted. "When someone says [expletive] to try and make me look bag, I am 100% going to stick up for myself. I don't care what anyone else says."

The "The Way" singer has since unfollowed Brooks on Twitter. Doesn't seem like the two are "good friends" anymore.
