Actress-singer Ariana Grande has climbed the charts with her newest track Problem, but there is more to the story than just what the lyrics say. Rumors have it that the 20-year-old Florida born star is in fact singing about her ex-boyfriend, Nathan Skykes, and how their four-month relationship did not last.

Grande has also had trouble with Jai Brooks, who previously went on a Twitter rant about her, although recent reports have claimed that the pair have patched things up and gotten back together.

The Ariana and Jai tandem went on for almost a year before the former Nickelodeon princess dated Skykes. Grande previously told E! News that her relationship with Brooks was unhealthy and commented that Brooks had turned her into a different person.

When asked about what she wanted from a potential boyfriend she said, "[I like a guy with] lots of tattoos. I don't really have a type, type. But I love guys that can make me laugh. I love funny guys, I love a bad boy. I tried the good boy thing for a minute and I was like, 'No, Oh my gosh, that won't work'."

Grande's Problem is the one of the fastest selling digital audio tracks to top the iTunes chart just a week after its release.

"Problem truly represents the feeling of being absolutely terrified to re-approach a relationship that's gone sour - but you want to more than anything. In the song, it ends on a sappy, negative note, but in [real] life, we're hoping it's going to end on a positive one. I feel like it's all very honest and human," Grande said in a statement on Billboard.
