"Problem" singer Ariana Grande has once again broken up with on-again and off-again boyfriend, Australian prankster Jai Brooks. According to E! Online, sources close to the singer said that the estranged couple decided to call it quits when the 21-year-old singer went through a rough patch and felt that Brooks wasn't there to help her through it.

Grande lost her grandfather last month, the same month she lost her Nickelodeon TV show 'Sam & Cat' after it was cancelled despite its high ratings. 'Sam & Cat' was on the air for only one season.

Reports say that the producers of the Nickelodeon show decided to cancel after the singer had a spat with her co-star, Jennette McCurdy, as well as issues she had with the TV network.

In a recent post on her Instagram account, Grande talked about her pain over losing people, and how she came to realize that losing her grandfather is something she'll need to time with.

Ariana Grande and Jai Brooks first met through social media site Twitter back in 2012 and started online dating later that year until they finally met in person before the year's end. The couple first broke up in late 2013 when Brooks accused Grande of dating British singer Nathan Sykes while they were still in a relationship. However, the two got back together early 2014 before splitting up again last month.

Brooks is a member of the Australian Janoskians, a group of comedians popular for their stunts on YouTube.
