Apple's WWDC Slated for Next Week, Computer Giant to Unveil New Software, Computers, but No New iPhone?

Apple kicks of their 24th developers conference this coming week, and it looks to be an exciting one, with rumors and speculation about new software & computers. But no new iPhones?

Apple has previously announced that they will be debuting new version of their iOS and OSX software this coming week. These will most likely be announced during Monday's Keynote event, the highlight of the week. End-users shouldn't get too excited just yet, though, as it will almost certainly be released to developers for weeks before the general public.

iOS 7 seems to be a huge source of buzz from the computer company, as iOS should see its first major overhaul in the life of the software. Apple's top designer Jony Ive has been slowing leaking rumors about the change and CEO Tim Cook confirmed them in an interview last week. It should be interesting to see just how different iOS7 will be.

It's also around time for the new models of the MacBook Air and MacBook Pro, as they're due for an update. Rumors say that the Air should recieve a retina display akin to it's big brother, the MacBook Pro.

No new iPhones or iPads are expected to be announced at the event. With the release of the last iPhone sitting at 8 months ago and the iPad less than that, the company will most likely wait to put out their big market sellers until later this fall. Speculation has a new iPhone coming first, in early fall, and a new iPad Mini coming right in time for the holidays.
