Toshiba has surprised a lot of people by launching a entirely new line of premium ultrabook, which brings an eye-popping, high-resolution display and with touch capability with a slim dimension. 

Toshiba Kirabook features a display on par with Apple's MacBook Pro retina display.

The recent reports say, in the new line of Laptops from the Japanese Company, they are doing a great production in Window based laptops but Toshiba Kirabook competes with MacBook pro, in a single package. In the recent Spec sheet, Kirabook competes with MacBook Pro and Toshiba features an equal range of usage as like MacBook Pro, it has Core i5 or i7 processor, 256 GB of solid storage, 8GB of RAM. It has a horsepower usage and resolution is 2560x1440 and this rivaled by the MacBook Pro with Retina Display.

The most impressive thing about the Kirabook is that its impressive power fits into a wedge-shaped magnesium shell considerably smaller than 13-inch MacBook pro. The whole system is sturdy and rigid, and definitely doesn't feel fragile or cheap in any way.  

The Price range starts from $1,599.99 it firmly equals with MacBook pro. Believe it or not, Toshiba Kirabook sells at MacBook pro level and its important to note that, the device is premium Windows 8 competing with iOS. This is the first in the Tech, world Apple is facing a competitor and featuring with Windows 8, the hinge is still a bit wobbly, and the screen has a high resolution.

The Windows 8 Toshiba Kirabook desperately wants to be equals with MacBook pro.  Have they achieved that?  Not quite yet.
