Battery Life

The MacBook excels in this regards, as it has an incredible 12 hours of use compared to Surface Pro's six to nine hours.

Some other things to consider include the purpose of your new technology. The Surface Pro has a pen for hand-written notes, and art made in programs such as Adobe Photoshop. On the other hand, the MacBook has a better keyboard, in comparison, as far as touch and texture goes.
