Apple Keynote Event October 2014 Live Stream: Watch Online New iPad Air 2, Mini 3 Release Date Unveiled on Google Chrome or Firefox Extensions

Apple is geared up and ready to launch its next generation iPads and other devices at this year's Keynote Conference. The tech titan is expected to unveil two new iPads- the iPad Air 2 and the iPad mini 3 with Retina display.

Additionally, Apple will most likely reveal the launch dates for OS X Yosemite and its new mobile payments platform, Apple Pay.

The Keynote Event will be delivered by Apple CEO Tim Cook, and will take place at Apple's headquarters in Cupertino. The live stream begins at 10:00 am PT (or 1:00 pm EST), on Oct. 16.

Apple's live stream will be limited to those watching via Safari on Mac OS X (10.6.8 or later) and iOS 6.0 or later. Also viewers with a second or third generation Apple TV will be able to find the live stream under "Apple Events" on their home screens.

However, there is a way to bypass or work around restrictions that Apple has placed on their Keynote Event live stream coverage.

Basically, there are methods that allow other browsers to "pretend" to be Safari, which enables access to the live stream.

For Google Chrome users a step by step manual switch can be found here, or a User-Agent Switcher Google Chrome extension can be installed.

Mozilla Firefox users are also in luck as there is an add-on for watching the Keynote Event 2014 live stream as well.

Another point worth mentioning is that that traffic via live stream tends to be rather high for monumental events like this, so it's best to be prepared.

For the best results watching the live stream, it be wise to pre-load the stream in order to prepare it for the actual broadcast. Make sure to have the website up and running before 10:00 am PDT.
