Apple iPhone 5s Versus Nokia's Lumia 1020. Who has the better Camera?

Apple recently unveiled their two new iPhones the iPhone5s and iPhone5c. Apple increased the iPhone's camera sensor and pixel size, but how does iPhone's camera compare to the new Nokia Lumia 1020.

Display wise the new iPhone5s come with a 4-inch retina display with 326 pixels per inch while the Nokia Lumia 1020 has a 4.5 inch amoled display with a pixel density of 332 pixels per inch. iPhone comes in last place when it comes to pixels, the new HTC One has 469 pixels per inch.

When it comes to cameras the Lumia 1020 takes the cake. The Lumia 1020 was built around its camera and imaging capabilities. It has a large sensor and uses a 41 mega-pixel oversampling technique. It uses both Xenon and LED flash along with a Carl Zeiss lens. The iPhone5s camera on the other hand, has some minor improvements. It uses a five-element lens and has improved sensitivity in low light environments. The phones active sensor area has been enlarged by 15%, and the lens is protected by sapphire crystal so that is more resistant to scratches.

If you want a great camera then opt for Nokia's Lumia 1020 and its optics and high-quality screen, but if you want something user friendly with a ton of apps then go for the iPhone5s.
