Animal Jam is a massively multiplayer online online game launched in 2010. The game was created by Smart Bomb Interactive in collaboration with the National Geographic Society. The game mostly caters to children and is free-to-play.

Players are represented by customizable animal avatars. Players can also customize their virtual houses, called dens, and own a virtual pet. Players can interact with each other through chatting, trading and playing online games with each other.

The main form of currency in this game is called gems and can be earned by playing the aforementioned online games. With these gems, players can purchase items that can be used to further customize their avatars and dens.

While the main method of acquiring these gems is by playing games, another way of getting in-game currency is by using codes. The codes are available for use by players and are routinely changed every few weeks. Sometimes the codes will supply a rare item that cannot be purchased with gems.

It is important to note that the codes can only be used once per player. Once the code has been used by the player, the code is no longer valid.

For the month of July, a total of 7100 gems can be acquired through codes. The following codes can be redeemed, alongside its value in-game:

chimbu, nile, friendship, tigris, ganges, kama, bemybuddy, drawing, Alphas, shadows, zambezi, and Adventure can all be redeemed for 500 gems.

The code "explorer' can be redeemed for 100 gems and the code "ngexplorer' can be redeemed for 1000 gems.
