Angie Miller is focusing on staying positive.  

She had an incredible run on "American Idol" and even though she had a surprising exit from the Top 3, as she was many peoples pick to win the whole competition, it has helped establish her new career. 

Miller took to Ustream (see above) to give a quick and personal message to her fans with one message, "lets look forward to the future". 

She thanked her fans and said that it is OK that she did not win "American Idol" and that she is super excited about her future. She even threw in a pinky promise that all of her fans would "not focus on the past, but just how great the future is going to be".  

There is high reason for optimism for Miller and her career.

Even though "American Idol" had record lows in ratings, the talent pool at the end was great and Miller still seemed to shine every week. Even when she was already eliminated, Miller still almost stole the finale doing two performances with Adam Lambert and then with one of her favorite artists, Jessie J.  Both performances were considered by many the 2 best of the whole finale night. 

Another plus for Miller is that she writes her own music and even released an original song as her first single, "You Set Me Free".  So this will bode well for her artistic expression staying alive in her songs. 

Miller has the chance to be the next success like a Kelly Clarkson or Carrie Underwood if she stays on the right path.
