American Idol contestant, Angie Miller gears up to sing in the Top 9 tomorrow night on FOX.   

Angela "Angie" Miller has been one of the top contestants of the American Idol Season 12 to this point.   In the Hollywood round of auditions, Angie Miller went out on a limb and performed her original song "You Set Me Free" while playing the piano.  The song was a hit with the judges and the fans of the show.  This instantly catapulted her into one of the favorites of the competition.  

Angie Miller excels when she is behind the piano, but had one of her best performances last week singing the Celine Dion song, "I Surrender" and showing that she can stand alone with just her vocal chops as well.  

Angie Miller opened up on twitter (@angieAI12) about getting close with the Top 9 contestants left saying, "I have loved the past two nights staying up with the top 9 getting to know all there hearts. These are some great people.#blessed" 

Some thought that Miller might have been more about the looks then the talent early on in the auditions, but she has shown that she not only has great talent, but talent to win this season of American Idol.  

She is quickly gaining a large fan base that is voting for her and that has the potential to carry on after her Idol time is over.  Most American Idol contestants struggle to keep relevant and hold a strong fan base together after the show but Miller seems to have the star quality to have a long lasting career.  

The ladies are definitely the favorites on American Idol this year with Kree Harrison and Candice Glover being her other main competition to this point.
