If you've been watching American Idol Season 12 you know Angie Miller is a clear favorite to win the competition. Idol judge Nicki Minaj agrees.

"I would say Kree and Angie are the front-runners," Minaj said in a conference call to USA Today on Monday.

Minaj later went on to say, based on what she sees from Miller's fans on Twitter, Angie clearly has a loyal following.

Last week's American Idol "Beatles" night proved difficult for some of the contestants. Angie Miller was not one of those contestants. Her version of "Yesterday" was spot on.

The Idol judges also thought Miller's performance was exceptional. Randy Jackson commented on how well Angie used Idol mentor Jimmy Iovine's advice to show restraint and perform less like a "beauty queen."

"You pulled back and you held back and you emoted from your heart," Jackson added.

Mariah Carey was impressed with Angie's knowledge of the song content telling Miller she, "did a very respectful version of the song."

Nicki Minaj outdid all of the judges gushing over Angie. The Idol diva told Miller, regardless of if she wins, she's good enough to sing on Disney movie soundtracks and even perform on Broadway.

"You could do anything with your voice. You are amazing!" Minaj added.

Angie Miller's hometown Beverly, Massachusetts is showing their support for tonight's Top 8 episode. The town's main streets are making lawn sighs in support of Miller and Bertucci's on Enon Street has an American Idol viewing party planned with full surround sound.
