Angel Di Maria Transfer Details, Injury Update: Hopes to Face Germany in World Cup Final
Argentine winger, Angel di Maria, took in some light field practice in hopes of having to participate in the finals match against Germany on Sunday. Di Maria's thigh injury occurred during Argentina's match against Belgium a few days ago.
Di Maria is one of the most creative playesr on the Argentinian side next to Messi.
Besides the World Cup squad, Angel di Maria plays for Real Madrid and is looking to be bought by Manchester United. This however, has been going on for quite some time and is seeking to get some closure. The deal is still developing, but there are reports that suggest that the Red Devils and Paris Saint-Germain are looking to grab the Argentinian player's signature.
Van Gaal has posted a bid of up to £47 million for Di Maria. However, he is convinced that Di Maria won't be willing to leave La Liga for anything less than £56 million. With this, he will have to decide on whether to agree with new demands or look for new transfer targets.
There is speculation that Real Madrid would be willing to part with Di Maria for the £47 million since they are looking to hire Monaco player James Rodriguez.
Van Gaal isn't the only one interested with Di Maria however, as Paris Saint-Germain has posted a £47.7 million bid on the Argentine player, just a few thousand pounds over Van Gaal's bid. This comes with some compromise as the French would have to lay-off some players if the deal pushes through.
If Di Maria does not want to go through with the deal, Manchester can always go for Juan Cuadrado.
