Andy Mineo's Biggest Enemy is Himself in 'You Can't Stop Me' Music Video as He Channels Mortal Kombat and More (VIDEO)
Christian rapper Andy Mineo was recently on an MTV News segment as they were behind the scenes of his new music video for "You Can't Stop Me" off his Never Land EP.
Mineo, standing in front of a green screen as he is shooting his video, stepped off and said the video is about him conquering his biggest enemy, "me." He explained that in the video there is two versions of himself. There is him rapping, and there is him trying to stop himself.
In describing the video he said it has this "cheesy animated feel to it" as he incorporated some nostalgic parts, including nods at Mortal Kombat.
"I think everyone experiences self doubt no matter how successful you are. There's always that sense of insecurity. Your conscience of, 'Man I did good, but it could be better,'" he said to MTV News, "You know every album or every video I've released, it was never ready to be released, it was never as good as it could be."

At a previous event which BreatheCast attended, Mineo explained his views on being called a Christian artist, "I understand where people are coming from when they say they don't want to be identified by their Christianity, when it comes to their art," he said.
"I think people want to be identified as Christians as their core identity," he explained, "But in their artistry or craft they don't want to lead out with that title because it comes with a lot of baggage, stereotypes, presuppositions and I believe it really impedes opportunities for people who don't share your beliefs to engage with the craft and appreciate it."
Mineo believes Christians are to persuade non-believers into accepting the message. He noted, "in the opposite direction you go to the dudes in the street and you say 'Yo I got Christian rap' they say all my friendships with Christians is that the judge me or it's corny so now I don't want to give the craft an opportunity."
Mineo has currently been making waves for Christian hip-hop as he has appeared on MTV, Sway in the Morning, and all over the radio. His EP Never Land came out this winter.
