Android L 5.0 Release Date, Features: Anti-Interruption, Handy Controls, 68+ Built-In Languages
The new Android OS, called Lollipop 5.0, is gearing up for its release next week. From what is already known about it, Android L has a bold and colorful responsive UI for continuous interaction/experiences between other devices.
It has a new notification center which allows you to control when and how you receive messages. This means, for instance, if you receive a call it won't interrupt what you're watching or playing, basically you can answer and keep doing whatever you are doing.
It has a battery saver feature, which extends the battery life for more than 90 minutes. It has an enhanced security system which assures the protection of all the data on your phone, because it automatically pairs your devices to a trusted device like a system in your car for example.
It includes a handy controls feature which gives you a quick access to the most frequently used settings, such as flashlight, screen controls, Wi-Fi, GPS etc.
It has an improved Internet connection system capable of saving a lot of energy. It also has a faster and more powerful computing experience that improves the overall system's performances (up to 4 xs). The new OS supports 64 bit devices and apps and it also shows great improvements in multimedia (audio, video and camera capabilities).
Beyond that, the OS will have a super user-friendly interface, as it has 68+ languages built in.
The first devices to have this new Android OS will be the 5.96-inch Nexus 6 and 8.9-inch Nexus 9 tablet. The update for this new OS will be released on November the 3rd, and the Nexus 9 is expected to hit the market on the same day.
