Android 6.0 Marshmallow Update For Nexus, HTC, LG and Samsung; Which Devices Are Confirmed?

The Android 6.0 Marshmallow update has already started rolling out, but it's not going to be a sweeping application where all the users immediately receive the new features.

Android Authority explained that the release of the Android 6.0 Marshmallow update involves a lot of players such as Google, device makers, the chipmakers and finally the telcos.

"With so many players, and so many things that can go wrong, you should expect delays, slow rollouts, botched releases, and generally a lot of variation based on your specific model, your region, and your carrier," it reported.

With that said, there are already confirmed devices that have added the Android 6.0 Marshmallow update.

Android Pit meanwhile has the full list of devices from Asus, Nexus, HTC, Huawei, LG, Motorola and Nvidia as well as for older units from Samsung, OnePlus, Xiaomi and Sony.

For Google Nexus, for instance, it seems only Nexus 5, Nexus 6, Nexus 7, Nexus 9 and Nexus Player will get the Android 6.0 Marshmallow update.

Out of the 15 variations for HTC phones, only HTC One Mini 2 and HTC One M7 won't get the updates. In the same vein, most except one (Ascend P7) of Huawei's units will receive the Android Marshmallow 6.0 update.

For LG units, G3 is confirmed to have the update while the G4 and the V10 are still rolling out (said to come this month).

Samsung phones will also feature Android Marshmallow 6.0 update except for Samsung Galaxy S3 and Samsung Galaxy S4 and there's no confirmation yet for the Samsung Galaxy S3 Neo, according to the report.
