With the latest update, Canadian owners of the two handsets will experience a wide range of modifications on their respective devices, counting the smoother interface, options to set default launcher and messaging apps, improved RAM usage, better stability, camera shortcut, white status bar icon, wireless printing, NFC tap to pay support, album art on lock screen, Emoji for keyboard transparent status bar, Samsung Wallet, Samsung KNOX 2.0 as well as numerous bug fixes.
Henceforth, users of these two devices will be able to access the update via the settings menu or will have to wait for an OTA notification on their handsets.
In addition to Samsung Galaxy S3 and Samsung Note 2, currently the Android 4.4.4 KitKat update is also available for the HTC One M8 as well as M7 Google Play Edition.
