Android 4.4.3 KitKat Update for Galaxy S5 Release Date June 2014; Changes to Audio Quality?
The Android 4.4.3 KitKat update for Samsung's Galaxy S5 and Galaxy Note series smartphones is set to be released this June. Although there is no confirmation about an official date, rumors say that it is sure to be released by the end of this month.
Reports say that Galaxy Note 3 users might wait a little longer than S5 users because the update may be available in July for Galaxy Note 3.
Apple and Android go head-to-head once again as the major update for iOS 8 was launched on the same day when Android 4.4.5 KitKat update became available. According to gottabemobile.com, "Android 4.4.3 KitKat is not the major update that iOS 8 will be but it's still an important update nonetheless. The software is a bug fixer aimed at tackling major and minor Android 4.4.2 KitKat problems and it also brings several new features to the table including a new look to the dialer and some cosmetic changes to the People application."
However, according to other rumors, issues about phone call audio quality and GPS navigation will be put to rest if the latest update will be able to fix these problems.
The newest Android update will be something to look forward to especially for users disappointed with the previous update. Meanwhile the update is more than fixing bugs according to latinpost.com, "With the 4.4.3 update, the application now offers more flexibility and features like allowing direct access to all information as well as marking favorite contacts. Another major fix that comes with the update is a solution to the crashing issue brought about by the 'mm-qcamera-daemon' process."
Only a few days remain until the update becomes available and Galaxy S5 users will test it out and provide feedback on its new changes.
