Anderson Silva Leg Break Recovery News: Rumors Set Spider to Return Early Next Year

Anderson Silva's recovery from a broken leg is apparently going very well. "The Spider" recently appeared at Javits Center in New York City to excite some fans with his fantastic fighting moves. Silva, has been out of the hexagon ring for months now, ever since his left leg was fractured.

The UFC legend interacted with his fans during the MMA World Expo, hinting that his recovery is going well. While there are no official updates about the planned Nick Diaz versus Anderson Silva, Diaz had this to say about it, "I'd be interested in fighting [Anderson Silva] and anything that's going to do well," and, "As far as Anderson Silva, I think that would be a great fight for people to see because he has my type of style."

It is said that Silva will be the training partner of Daniel Cormier who is preparing to meet Jon Jones in the UFC 178, "I've got some friends and they put me in contact with some of the guys down in southern California, with Anderson Silva and Lyoto Machida. I may down go there for a week," said Cormier in The MMA Hour

"I'll tell you what, I think he should fire his trainer and hire himself a boxing trainer that teaches him how to put punches out', said Diaz. While Diaz had been urging Silva to step up again, fans are speculating that "The Spider" will return early next year.

As one of the most accomplished legends in UFC, Silva has been remarkably recovering from the leg injury that happened during a rematch against Chris Weidman in the UFC 168.
