Anchorman: The Legend Continues update!

Anchorman 1 cast members Will Ferrell, Carell, Paul Rudd and Christina Applegate have been confirmed for the second Anchorman movie along with new faces Kristen Wiig and Harrison Ford. Some reports claiming Tina Fey and Amy Poehler will also be starring the sure-to-be hilarious sequel have started buzzing around the Web.

Still no word on how Fey and Poehler, and the rest of the huge list of cameos, will all fit in the same movie, Anchorman: The Legend Continues seems destined to be the funniest movie of the decade much like it's predecessor.

Photos of Fey and Poehler have begun circulating cyberspace. The on-set photos show what seems to be a reprise of the new team brawl scene. Except in these photos a violent Fey is shown beating Sacha Baron Cohen, yes another cameo, with what appears to be a metal cane while Poehler thrashes at him with her feet.

Steve Carell thinks Anchorman 2 could be better than the first.

"It is a perfect sequel to the first one. I'm really excited about it," Carell said in a recent interview with VHI.

And yes during the same brawl scene, photos revealed Steve Carell's character Brick was seen holding a trident.

Follwing the release of a Anchorman2 teaser trailer, director Adam McKay has revealed a little bit about the upcoming sequel.

"It's right when all the news started changing with the 24-hours news cycle in '78 or '79. All of a sudden, local news stations diversified and had Latino anchors and African-American anchors, and any time you're talking about diversity and the Action News team, that's always fun to deal with."

Anchorman 2: The Legend Continues is set for a December 20, 2013 release date. Are you as excited as I am?
