Christian rock band Anberlin's final studio album Lowborn is being pushed back a month from June 23 to July 22.

The band released a statement to apologize to fans for the delay and to explain what happened.

"Hey guys, as we're sure some of you have heard, due to some not so fun circumstances having to do with this industry, our final album Lowborn has been delayed until July 22nd," wrote the band in a statement. "Completely out of our control, and we're really sorry that we can't get this album into your hands when we had planned. If you've pre-ordered the record from our merch store, your orders will now ship out on July 18th. That includes CDs and vinyl. Along with this news, Anberlin announced that people who pre-ordered the album will receive the track "Hearing Voices."

Their first single off the album is "Stranger Ways.", "I wanted to enjoy the creative process one more time, with no restrictions, no one breathing down my neck for a single," lead singer Christian said in a press release, "Just unadulterated creative freedom." This summer they will be part of the Vans Warped Tour and then head out to Europe, Asia, and Australia.
