Amy Grant Begins Summer Tour to Promote New Album “How Mercy Looks from Here” / On Tour with Brandon Heath
Award-winning Christian artist Amy Grant has released another stellar album with "How Mercy Looks From Here." The album has debuted with much critical praise and looks to be one of Grant's best offerings yet. This release comes after a break in solo releases, with Grant taking time to focus on other things. But, with "How Mercy Looks From Here", she seems ready to re-enter the spotlight. In an interview with USA Today, Grant notes that "The hardest time to write a song is when you have nothing to say. But, when 10 years go by? You have a lot to write about." After listening to the album, it becomes clear that she does indeed have a lot to say, and it would behoove us all to listen.
In response to her recent release, Grant is slowly announcing dates for her summer tour, in promotion of the album. With dates already booked for Pennsylvania, Oregon, Ohio, Washington, Colorado, and California, she looks promote this album with its due diligence. Grant is also playing several dates in hometown Nashville, including a May 31st show at the Grand Ole Opry.
She will playing a large portion of these shows with fellow Christian singer-songwriter Brandon Heath. Heath is a two-time GMA Male Vocalist of the Year and five-time Grammy nominee. He is known for his thought provoking albums and his GMA-award winning songs "Give Me Your Eyes" and "Your Love." Heath looks to round out what will be an amazing tour with two fantastic artists.
