'American Idol" Top 10 Preview

American Idol fans be sure to tune in to season 12's Top 10 finalist show airing tonight at 8 p.m. EST on FOX. The Top 10 marks the first real round for the singers. Judges no longer decide who advances, leaving the destiny of the competition solely in the hands of the viewers.

The theme of this week on American Idol 2013 is "Music of American Idols" which means the Top 10 finalists will be expected to perform songs already covered in past season by previous Idol winners. The show has not made it clear if that song list will include post-Idol songs.

If you enjoyed Angie Miller's powerhouse rendition of Colton Dixon's original, "Never Gone" then this is definitely a week of American Idol you don't want to miss.

We should also be on the lookout for a few surprises. According to MJsBigBlog, past contestants have been discussing what sounds like an upcoming appearance on stage for tonight's show.

Though tonight's episode of American Idol will be the most grueling of the season, the Top 10 marks the first time the contestants will be performing group songs together.

Jon Bon Jovi and last year's winner Phillip Phillips will be performing during Thursday night's "results" show. Phillips' smash debut single, "Home" will also be used as the "goodbye" for the remainder of the season, playing each time someone is kicked off.

Tune in for tonight's Top 10, "Music of American Idols" episode of American Idol 2013, which airs at 8 p.m. on FOX.
