Kree Harrison sang, "What the World Needs Now" tonight on American Idol and was impressive as usual.  Her brother made a special appearance to come and watch her sing and she seemed especially excited about having him there. 

Harrison is a prohibitive favorite along with Angie Miller for the crown of Season 12.  

Mariah Carey started off with the "I love the arrangement, I felt it was perfect for your voice.  What I feel about you in terms of the emotional connection to the song, I look at you and see someone who is not trying to produce to fake emotion.  For me, I enjoyed that a lot, I really did.  Great choice to start the song by yourself vocally."

Keith Urban added, "what I realized from last week.  You have real genuine compassion for people and it comes through in your voice.  I feel like it's a person I can trust and who trusts me.  You should bring your brother every week because its the best you've ever sung." 

Nicki Minaj chimed in, "Your voice is so sweet and endearing.  If you aren't performing on the country music awards next year, then my name ain't Onika Tanya Maraj.  Every country producer and writer is lining up to give you material for your first record."  

Randy Jackson closed with, "I love that you came over our last performer (Lazaro Arbos), this is singing!  This is what this competition is all about.
