"American Idol" is back tonight on FOX with the Top 3 singing for a chance to be in the finale next week!

Candice Glover got to visit her home in St. Helene Island.  It had been four months since she had been home and gotten to see her family and friends. 

Glover performed a gorgeous rendition of "Next to Me" by Emeli Sande. Judge Nicki Minaj even got choked up after watching her going home video and seeing her perform.

Here is what the judges had to say.  

Mariah Carey: "I feel like I went home with you. I feel like you got re-energized when you got to be home and see your family and real love and passion for you as an artist.  Keep that with you in the future, I see good things happening for you in the future."

Keith Urban: "It was amazing, it wasn't even a song it was like a conversation, it was perfect. At the end, what I loved is that you were in the zone of melodically riffing and you never felt like you had to come down in the melody.  You just stayed where you were and you have been getting more and more confident to just sing where you want to sing and it was beautiful."

Nicki Minaj: "You have come out swinging in this competition and I am so proud of you (tears up). Congratulations."

Randy Jackson: "We all know what the struggle is like. This is one of the greatest things about America is that you can come from anything, absolutely nothing and be someone with your talent, so kudos to us.  Let me say this, that was amazing vocally and it shows people how you can be on the radio today."

Candice Glover has been the most consistently strong vocal performance in the competition this year.  

The is the 12th season of "American Idol".  The judges this year are Randy Jackson, Mariah Carey, Keith Urban and Nicki Minaj.  Host is Ryan Seacrest. 

Miller is many peoples favorite to win the whole competition this year.
