"American Idol" Angie Miller sings "Bring me to Life" by Evanescence. Watch Performance Here (VIDEO)
Angie Miller was looking for a bounce back performance tonight after last weeks sub-par performance of "Shop Around" by The Miracles. The judges were not impressed with the performance with Randy adding, "Angie, this was a strange one for me. I don't know if there was something going on in your ears, but it was the first time every I saw you have a pitchy performance. It was strange for me." Nicki Minaj also was telling her to quit trying to be different, do what you've been doing, people love it.
Angela "Angie" Miller and Lazaro Arbos started the night singing Queen's song "Crazy Little Thing Called Love". The crowd reaction seemed mixed to the performance. Idol judge Nicki said, "It was nice." Lazaro forgot some of the lyrics which did not help. Randy and Nicki thought that Angie sounded great. Mariah said, "it is not meant to be a duet". She enjoyed the last note was a good duet moment and that Angie was good. Keith was not too impressed and said it felt like a variety show. Keith did say he prefered Lazaro's look this week compared to last week.
The contestants are performing Classic Rock songs tonight.

Tonight Miller performed from the piano which has been her strong suit. She say the song "Bring Me To Life" by the female fronted rock band, Evanescence and featuring Paul McCoy. I feel old if Evanescence is considered classic rock now. Miller's performance started out fantastic as she was at the piano and weakened a little while she was trying to stay up with the power of the band behind her when they kicked in.
The judges seemed to enjoy Millers performance with the exception of Keith who hinted at her worrying more about the production than the feeling of the song. Her performance should be good enough to keep her out of the bottom 3.
On tomorrow nights results show, Carrie Underwood will perform her new single, "See You Again" along with Season 9 finalist Casey James singing his song, "The Good Life."
Tune in tomorrow night to see which contestant will be sent home.
