American Idol: Angie Miller Performs Kari Jobe Song "When Love Came Down" Tonight, Gets Standing Ovation
Angie Miller kicked off the night singing the song, "Anyone Who Had A Heart" by Burt Bacharach/Dionne Warwick.
The second hour kicked off with the theme "songs that the contestants wish they would have written". Miller chose, "Love Came Down" by Christian artist, Kari Jobe.
Last year when she was graduating high school, she knew that she would be experiencing a lot of change.
Miller sat at the piano for the whole performance which is where she has always gotten her best reviews and seemed most connected to the song.
Here is what the judges had to say about her second performance of the night.
Keith Ubran: "You are going to be getting more comfortable switching from piano to performing without it
Nicki Minaj: "This was Angie, this is where you were at. The girls Kree, Amber, Janelle are ahead of you, If you don't come back with performances like this, you are outta here."
Randy Jackson: "I love it for so many reasons, it taps into who you are. It was amazing, you saw us stand up, love it!"
Mariah Carey: "Angie, that piano and you, you can't go wrong. I can't express it, it was perfect."
Tune in tomorrow night to see if Miller makes it into Top 5.
