After an extra week of safety for the Top 4 girls, someone must go home tonight.

Just like last week, Angie Miller and Candice Glover were the Top 2 and were safe for another week.  Amber Holcomb and Kree Harrison were in the bottom 2 again except this week only one of them would advance to the Top 3 next week. 

Amber Holcomb was the one in the end who got voted off.  She had an amazing run on the show and will be back for the Idol tour.   

Tonight there were 3 special performances lined up for everyones viewing pleasure for the results show.

Guest mentor this week Harry Connick Jr. performed his new single "Every Man Should Know". 

There was also a performance by Will.i.am. performing his new hit single "#thatPOWER". Some were hoping Justin Bieber, who sings on the track, would actually make a performance on the Idol stage as well but that did not happen.

Lastly, David Cook, Season 7 winner of "American Idol" debuted his new single "Laying Me Low".  He gave a solid performance with his band and new haircut.  

So the Top 3 is set with Angie Miller, Candice Glover and Kree Harrison.
