American Idol: Angie Miller #1 In Rankings This Week, See Full Rankings Here

"American Idol" is back on FOX tonight with the Top 6 contestants.  Since the Top 10, which started as 5 guys and 5 girls, not one lady has been sent home.  So now it is down to 5 girls left and just 1 guy, so the question remains to be seen if it can be an all girl Top 5 for the first time ever in Idol history.

Here are the "power" rankings for the Top 6 based on last week's performances on Idol:

1. Angie Miller (#2 last week): Not a big surprise here. Miller showed her artistry in her performance of "Bring me to Life" last week and also work her strong points starting off at her piano, then moving center stage to rock out on the podium during the final chorus.  Miller's performance was widely regarded as the best of the night.

2. Kree Harrison (#1 last week): Kree sang "Piece of My Heart" and vocally it was dead on. Harrison's performance little some energy as she was dealing with a pinched nerve in her back.  Still her energy could have matched the song better, so she drops a spot.

3. Candice Glover (#3 last week): Widely regarded as the best singer in Season 12, Glover sand "Satisfaction".  It was not a stand out performance but was vocally solid as usual.  She stays put at #3.

4. Janelle Arthur (#4 last week): She sang Billy Joel's "You May Be Right" but it was a letdown to some after such a unique arrangement of "You Keep Me Hanging On" the week before. Janelle has been classy all the way through and maybe tonight's performance can push her into the top 3.

5. Amber Holcomb (#5 last week): She performed "What About Love" and it started and ended strong with the middle lacking. Holcomb is a strong singer but not on the level of the other girls at this point.

6. Lazaro Arbos (#7 last week): He's been in the top 3 with voters but he is last in the eyes of the judges.  No one expects him to outlast any of the ladies this week to make it into the Top 5.  Arbos has had a good run.
