'American Idol' 2013 Spoiler Alert: Top 6 Song Choices & More [SECRETS REVEALED]
American Idol Top 6 spoiler alert! Though Idol 2013 has done a pretty good job of keeping episode themes and song choices relatively secret, MJs Big Blog, has the inside scoop on tonight's Top 6 episode. Here's a break down of what some contestants will be singing.
Lazaro Arbos:
1. "Close to You" (Bacharach/David) - a song originally performed by The Carpenters.
2. "Angels" by Robbie Williams.
Lazaro Arbos singing Burt Bacharach just seems like a train wreck waiting to happen. Luckily for Arbos, America seems to have a soft spot for the singer with the speech impediment.
Janelle Arthur:
1. "I'll Never Fall In Love Again" also by Bacharach
2. "The Dance" by country legend Garth Brooks
Janelle needs a strong performance tonight. Still stronger than the one remaining male (Lazaro), Janelle needs to sing her way closer to Kree Harrison and Angie Miller territory. Garth Brooks seems right in her wheelhouse.
Angie Miller:
1. "Anyone Who Had A Heart" by Bacharach and Dionne Warwick.
2. "Love Came Down" by Kari Jobe.
Angie Miller should nail both of these songs. She'll be able to let loose on the Warwick collaboration and can bring it back home with the soft Kari Jobe number, that she'll most likely play on piano.
Amber Holcomb:
1. "I Say A Little Prayer" - another Bacharach/Warwick co-write.
2. "Love On Top" by Beyonce.
Deemed the young Whitney Houston of American Idol 2013, Holcomb is taking a risk with the Beyonce track. Though she's done Queen B on Idol before and definitely has the pipes to back it up, the comparison could still prove difficult to overcome.
MJs Big Blog revealed a lot but the song choices for Candice Glover and Kree Harrison still managed to stay under wraps.
Instead of recycling bogus speculation all I can tell you is to tune in to American Idol tonight at 8/7c on FOX.
