On American Idol tonight, one of the remaining five ladies will be eliminated from season 12. Along with the live results, Idol alum Clay Aiken and Fantasia Barrino

The girls opened up the show with a group Donna Summer medley. Unfortunately this will be the last time these 5 girls perform on the Idol stage together [not counting the American Idol summer tour].

Last night's episode was packed with incredible performance from the girls: Angie Miller, Kree Harrison, Candice Glover, Amber Holcomb and Janelle Arthur.

Last night's episode wasn't short on drama either. The Internet was buzzing all last night and today about Nicki Minaj's racy red dress that showed off far too much cleavage for the family oriented American Idol audience. At one point Nicki Minaj even told fellow judge Mariah Carey to "simmer down" calling her "sir."

Tonight Minaj is wearing jeans and a white tank top. But going in for a hug and bending her backside, Minaj revealed she was wearing a black thong. Sometimes I think the Idol producers encourage this type of controversial behavior from the "Super Bass" singer.

As Ryan Seacrest was recapping Candice Glover's Paula Abdul's "Straight Up", the original Idol judge surprised Candice by sneaking up behind her and revealing she's a huge fan of the soul diva.
