‘American Horror Story’ Season 4 Spoilers, Plot Rumors: Sarah Paulson as Conjoined Twins Named Dot and Bette

American Horror Story Season 4, entitled The Freak Show, shows promise of a scarier and darker set of episodes. Show creator Ryan Murphy mentioned that the upcoming installment focuses on a popular carnival show in Jupiter, Florida during the 1950's.

Sarah Paulson will be portraying Dot and Bette, a conjoined twin rescued by Jessica Lange's character. In a photo posted on her Twitter, Paulson offered a hint as to what her character might look like when Season 4 begins filming.

However, she clarified in an interview, that the image she showed through her social media account was not her two-headed character.

"Everyone thinks that is the character of Dot and Bette in terms of the way I look -- that's just what the company came up with [to] digitally show the two heads to Ryan. They used a picture of me as Lana Winters because it was in the period. So that's not what I'll actually look like as Dot and Bette," Paulson told Vulture.

In a follow-up report, Paulson admitted that she lied to fans about the photo.

She clarified, "I know how much people want to know and how much they actually like to be surprised, and I knew that I could never do anything until Ryan told me that I could and once I got the go-ahead."

Latest news from E! Online announced FX's horror anthology casting three more characters, namely Larry, Bobby, and Sammy. According to the spoiler report, Larry is an extremely tall man while Sammy will require prosthetics, no further details were given to describe Bobby.

American Horror Story Season 4 begins filming on July.
