AMC's Hell on Wheels: Season 3 the Revival
AMC's new western television series "Hell on Wheels", will soon be well on way to a 3rd season. The two-hour season premiere will resume on August 10th. It is set to pick up during the winter of 1867 with Thomas "Doc" Durant trying to find his way out of jail and back into the railroad business, and soldier Cullen Bohannon (Anson Mount) plotting on when to take control of the Union Pacific Railroad as freed slave Elam Ferguson (Common) acts as his servant.
Nothing particularly juicy has been revealed of the third season of Hell on Wheels. There is talk of a new role for Jennifer Ferrin who will be playing Louise Ellison, a Journalists hired by the New York Sun to report on the building of the Transcontinental Railroad. Other than the winter plot and the voyage to New York "Hell on Wheels" is barely surviving when it comes to viewership.
The second season only averaged about 2.4 million viewers and for that reason the show was quickly moved from airing on Sunday to now airing on Saturday, which could potentially add another decrease to the shows viewership, but there is good news for the "Hell on Wheels" fans! AMC will be holding a marathon Saturday August 10th, which lead in to the first new episode of season 3. Stayed tuned and hopefully this season the story line will be more catchy to the shows casual viewers. Below are a few spoilers for the 3rd season.
