Former teen starlet Amanda Bynes is out of rehab, and trying to get her life together after a bizarre year and half that had her in and out of trouble with the law and various celebrities.

Initially Bynes was reported as having schizophrenia or some other mental illness, but now her mother has stepped out and simply said this is not true.

"[Amanda] is very sorry for all the hurtful tweets, statements and actions that occurred while she was under the influence of marijuana," Lynn Bynes said to E! News. "Amanda has no mental illness whatsoever. She has never been diagnosed as schizophrenic or bipolar."

Bynes' lawyer, Tamar Arminak released a statement on the actresses' behalf that further confirmed her mother's words.

"Amanda currently is on zero medication. She's devoted to living her life as healthy as possible," Arminak said to Us. "Her family is closely involved with her day-to-day life, but they try to give her as much autonomy as possible."

Bynes even went back to using her Twitter account, something that became a focal point for her erratic behavior. It was there that she Tweeted about her love for getting plastic surgery, her budding rap career, and distain for celebrities she deemed "ugly." Now, she started from scatch and removed all the previously offensive Tweets.
