Amanda Bynes Latest News: Tweets About Bipolar Disorder, Then Retracts Post

Troubled actress Amanda Bynes took to Twitter on Tuesday saying she's been diagnosed with bipolar disorder and is on medication, but later removed the tweet claiming that somebody 'hacked' her account.

Hours after the former Nickelodeon star tweeted that she was bipolar, saying, "I was diagnosed bipolar and manic depressive so I'm on medication and I'm seeing mu psychologist and psychiatrist weekly so I'm fine :D," she posted another tweet Tuesday morning to dispute it.

"I was at a friend's apartment last night and one of my friends tweeted my phone, sorry guys!," the 28-year old actress shared.

Bynes made headlines last month when she wrongly accused her father of sexually abusing her and tweeted about it. At the time Bynes' mother came to husband Rick Bynes' defense saying that the 'What I Like About You' actress' allegations were baseless.

"Rick has been the best father and husband a family can ask for. He has never abused Amanda or our other children physically or sexually," she said.

Bynes was "placed on 5150 psychiatric hold" (involuntary psychiatric hold) not long ago in Pasedena, California. The hospitalization came after she claimed that a "microchip" led her to wrongly accuse her dad, Rick Bynes of sexual abuse.

"My dad never did any of those things. The microchip in my brain made me say those things but he's the one that ordered them to microchip me," Bynes posted.

After her unexpected release from the psychiatric center, Bynes went active again on Twitter and posted a series of complaints regarding her parents who she said were controlling her.

Meanwhile, Bynes' parents are holding a conservatorship hearing and are allegedly holding her money from her. Also, some sources reported that Bynes has been living off American Express gift cards given to her by her parents.

"I got discharged for not being gravely disabled. But I am conserved and my parents only give me $50 dollars a day and it's really annoying," the actress ranted.

"I need to get an apartment and my parents won't give me access to any of my funds...I'm not living with my parents. I'm not legally obligated to," she added.
