'Alice in Wonderland 2' Release May 2016 Cast Johnny Depp and Mia Wasikowska Returning

Alice in Wonderland 2 is officially in the works and stars Johnny Depp and Mia Wasikowska will be joining the cast again for the sequel. 

The 50-year-old Depp will be getting back into his Mad Hatter ways for the sequel that is set to release Summer of 2016. 

James Bobin will be directing the film, not Tim Burton, who directed Alice in Wonderland in 2010 which brough in $1.02 billion at the global box office.

Alice in Wonderland 2 is scheduled to hit theaters on May 27, 2016.
