Agents Of SHIELD Season 2 Release Date, Cast Spoilers: Developments for Chloe Bennet Revealed
Marvel's Agents of SHIELD has just wrapped up its first season recently and left fans with lots of cliffhangers and puzzles waiting to be solved in Season 2.
According to reports, ABC's comic-based TV show returns next Fall with a different timeslot to give way to a newcomer - Marvel's Agent Carter.
Show executives have revealed that Chloe Bennet's role as Skye will get edgier and darker from Season 1.
Bennet herself has described her role as Skye: "Skye finds out a lot about her family coming up, or lack thereof. She doesn't know where she's from or if she's human, or alien, if she has powers. She has no idea, so we'll be seeing a lot of her finding that out," she said in her short chat with the press at ABC Upfronts in New York earlier in May.
Before Season 1 ended, Raina (Ruth Negga) knew that the "darkness" in Skye's history was actually from her parents "monstrous" tendencies shown at the Beginning of the End.
Co-creator Jed Whedon has said that the production is positive that Season 2 will not only answer some vagueness in the previous episodes, but will also give more room for even more surprises.
"I think we can't really say anything, but I think the end of the season answers some questions, but asked a lot of new questions," he told BuzzFeed.
Marvel's Agent Carter will debut on ABC just in time for Agents of SHIELD's Season 2, which pushes Jeff Bell's show onto the 9 p.m. time slot.
