This Tuesday's all new episode of hit ABC show "Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D." is set to be an exciting one, as the episode is a crossover with the story of "Thor."

Jaimie Alexander will make an appearance as Lady Sif, the character she played in "Thor." For spoilers about tonight's episode from Jaimie Alexander, read on.

Alexander recently talked about the crossover episode in an interview with TV Guide. She spoke about how she became involved with the show.

"I have to give all the credit mostly to Clark Gregg. We had seen each other at a party about two weeks before I got the offer to come on Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D. He asked me - as he put it - hypothetically if I'd be interested in doing some sort of crossover. I said, 'Absolutely, I think it would be a lot of fun and I'd totally be game for it.' Of course, two weeks later I got a call. I was like, 'Ah, Clark buttered me up.' But I didn't have to be buttered up," Alexander said.

The actress also spoke to how the other characters will get along with Lady Sif, and handle her on their turf.

"It's a little bit of a fish-out-of-water experience for Sif and for the team. You've got somebody from another world and you're collaborating with them. It's something that doesn't happen often. At first, they think she's a threat," Alexander told TV Guide.
