The Vickings Runningback, Adrian Peterson has gone through a tough couple weeks as he has been dealing with the death of his two-year old son in Sioux Falls, South Dakota. The boy that he originally claimed never met, died of abuse from his mothers current boyfriend, Joseph Patterson. Joseph reportedly is being charged for assault and battery of an infant, and will most likely have his charges raised to Murder 1. The details surrounding the two-year old boys beating is very unclear, the medical examiner stated that Petersons son was unresponsive when they arrived at the scene. The mom of the two-year old has decided to donate his organs to little kids in need. 

Adrian Peterson reportedly never met the two-year old, as he recently just found out about having another son. Peterson stated in an interview that he was planning on meeting him, but unfortunatley the boys death came first. ""It's an unfortunate situation and I can speak on it," Peterson said. "I found out recently that he was my son, like two months ago. I was planning on seeing him. I had a talk with his mom and we got some things together as far as financially helping her. Unfortunately this situation took place. It's devastating. A lot of people won't ever understand the situation that I'm in and see it the way I'm seeing the situation. It's tough, but I'm able to deal with that and got a good supporting cast around me that's been supporting me through this tough time." 

The NFL MVP champ attended the little boys funeral and returned back to practice on Thursday. Adrian didn't say much to the press after the funeral but stated, "Yeah, it was a difficult day, just taking in the circumstance and the whole situation," Peterson said. "A child was buried. That's difficult for anyone." Adrians Ex-girlfriend is now filing for more money with child support as she is insinuating that Peterson never paid his full monthly dues. Reports obtained from the court strictly state different as Peterson never missed a child support payment.
