Adele New Album 2014 Release Date: Twitter Post Reveals '25' Album Scheduled for 2014 Launch
In her latest Twitter post, Academy Award-winning British singer Adele has hinted that her new album will be titled "25." The new album is expected to be released sometime later this year.
All previous albums of Adele also have numerical titles "19" and "21" - an indication of her age when she wrote the songs for those albums.
The singer released her last album "21", which sold more than 30 million copies, three years back. Now just before celebrating her 26th birthday on May 5, Adele announced her plans to release her new album "25" later in 2014.
In fact, the singer's publicist confirmed in January that Adele would be coming out with her third album in 2014 and now she has hinted that the next album will be titled according to her age once again.
On Sunday night, the last night the singer was a 25-year-old, Adele tweeted a photo, apparently from her bed, with the caption: "Bye bye 25... See you again later in the year."
Adele's last album "21" was not only a commercial success, but also gained international critical acclaim for its raw and honest lyrics that talked about a relationship going disarray. The singles "Someone Like You" and "Rolling In The Deep" expressed the feeling of the singer-songwriter.
Now, it is anticipated that her forthcoming album "25" may possibly be a more heartening affair, considering that the singer's personal life has had a happier turn since then.
In October 2012, Adele became a mother for the first time, giving birth to her son Angelo and she is now content with her family, which also includes Simon Konecki, her partner for two years.
Since the release of "21", which dominated the charts in more than 26 countries, Adele has won an Academy Award, eight Grammy Awards, and also been honored with an MBE by Prince Charles of the British Royal Family.
