Season 3 of ABC's hit television series "Scandal" will soon be back on the air with its season 3 premiere airing October 3, 2013.  Many of us "Gladiators" know the plots and crazy twists of the TV show, but for those of you who don't, the main storyline is centered around a secret and forbidden love between Olivia Pope  (Kerry Washington) and Fitzgerald Grant (Tony Goldwyn). Why their love forbidden? Because the President of the United States Fitzgerald Grant is currently married. Can you say AFFAIR, hence the name of the television series "SCANDAL".

Going into season 3 Olivia has found out that Rowan is not only the head of B613, but he is also her father! In attempts to dismember Olivia's and Fitz's relationship, Rowan slides Cyrus a sex tape of Olivia (his daughter) getting it on with Jake! Fitzgerald also joins Olivia, Mellie, Cyrus, and Hollis in Defiance possibly for support during his re-election campaign.

Olivia had everyone feeling some type of way after she is revealed to be the President's "Monica Lewinski" by an unknown source. Fitz wants a divorce from his wife Mellie and to officially be with Olivia, but after seeing all the damage she caused, Olivia decided to dump Fitz yet again and Mellie of course took the jerk back!

Governor Reston returned and he knows he was cheated during the election by the rigged votes, but David got the citron card and passed it on to Cyrus who destroyed it and any evidence of the rigged election and poor Billy is arrested and taken into custody.

Yes there is a lot to keep up with, but it's well worth it. In the coming back on season 3 you will see Byron returning to the show on a recurring basis. Olivia's life is still one big mystery even after two years, but things will begin to unfold and although Olivia has cut Fitz off they still have to deal with each other, so we will see how that all plays out in the upcoming season!
