‘Dance Mom’ Season 6 Spoilers, Cast: Abby Lee Miller Resigning, Abby's Students Still Going Competitions?
Abby Lee Miller swayed through so many stages in her entire career as a dancer, instructor, and studio owner -- but will she dance her way through life's toughest challenge?
On the fourth episode of "Dance Moms" Season 6 entitled "Now You See Abby, Now You Don't," Miller was seen crying inside her very own Abby Lee Dance Company LA.
"I'm in a bit of a crisis," she was captured singing, "I've had it. Five years of my life I have made these kids stars."
Moms were seen waiting for Abby to make an appearance for pyramid, but they themselves were skeptical if the dance master can manage to continue to do her job in the Lifetime series.
The DI is faces a looming federal investigation after she was indicted on several counts of bankruptcy fraud in 2015. The 49-year-old TV personality is accused of concealing her income, reports Post-Gazette.
"Abby had a huge meltdown last week because of what's happened in her personal life. She's under a federal investigation for hiding money," participant mom Jessalyn Siwa says, "she has so much going on that we can't even relate to it."
Abby remained missing in pyramid so the veteran moms sent in the mini team member's mothers into Abby's office.
"I am hysterical," Abby was heard crying on a phone conversation, "I have done everything. There's nothing more I can do. Right now, I don't have a bra on, my car is in rollers, I'm in my slippers and I have a huge legal issue going on ... I'm finished."
When Melissa and Gisoni arrived at Abby's, they were kicked out for bringing cameras.
The ALDC matriarch showed up when Seventeen magazine staffers arrived to cast her girls in an eight-page fashion spread, but again, she's absent from class the following day.
Finally, during the last practice prior to the competition, Jill reveals to the mini team's mothers that Abby has quit.
"We've received an email that she's resigning," Jill said. "It's not looking good you guys. She's had it."
"Abby has been all over the place," Holly Frazier reacted, "she walked out of the competition last week, the other day she refused to come out of her cave, and today, she decides she's quitting."
Jessalyn cheered on the team and encourage everybody to move on without the veteran choreographer.
Even without a dance master to back them, Abby's students went on to give stellar performances which resulted in a few wins.
The elite junior team placed first for "The Elites." The mini team landed second for "The Spotlight."
Solo performers Maddie Ziegler and Brynn Rumfallo both placed second in their categories, reports International Business Times.
"Dance Moms" season 6 airs every Tuesday, 9 p.m. EST on Lifetime.
