7-Year- Old Boy has His Dream Come True after getting to become a SuperHero for the Day.
Every child, at one point or another, dreams of becoming a superhero and fighting the bad guys. For one little boy, it came true. Seven-year old, Alex Lelenoa, from Orange County, California, has been fighting Leukiemia and is constantly watching superhero cartoons for high spirits. His favorite character is Robin, Batmans trusted sidekick in all the cartoons and Alex has always wished to one day be Robin. Well, that day came true on Monday when the Anaheim Police department teamed up with the Make-A-Wish foundation to make that exact thing happen.
First, Alex was sworn in by the Police Department than he was taken to Knott's Berry Farm where he throughly enjoyed getting taken on a ride in the Battmobile. Second, Alex got to play Robin on aboard the Pirates Dinner adventure and help the Caped Crusader capture some bad guys! He then got to ride in a helicopter all the way to Angel Stadium where he was returned safely to his mom. The Make-A-Wish foundation grants the wishes of children every year with life threatening illnesses so that their day or life is made instantly better by making their dream come true. They grant a wish for a child on average every 38 minutes. Their goal is to change the lives of these kids during their hardest moments because making one wish come true can be a complete game changer. The video of Alex dressed up as Robin is below on KTLA website! Check out his awesome superhero moves.
